Your application often holds years of business data. We handle it with care. Below you can read exactly how.
Encrypted connections
All traffic to and from your application and this client portal runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Nobody can read along in transit: not when you log in, not when you send us files and not in the app itself.
Passwords that even we cannot see
Passwords are never stored as readable text, only as an irreversible encrypted fingerprint (scrypt hash). This means that even we cannot look up your password. If you lose it, we will set up a new initial password for you.
Every client has their own, separate environment
Your application runs in a strictly separated environment with its own database, its own login page and its own address. Clients technically cannot access each other's data. Within your environment, every employee works with a personal account and their own permissions; choosing a personal password is mandatory on first login, and inactive sessions expire automatically.
Careful with your FileMaker file
When you send us a FileMaker file, it is placed in a protected folder that is not publicly accessible. Only we can reach it, via short-lived, single-use download links. After the analysis, we delete the file at your request. We never ask for the login details of your application through a form. We agree on those with you personally and erase them as soon as the conversion is complete.
Daily backups
We make a consistent backup of every hosted application twice a day (at 12:00 and 19:00). The copies from the past two weeks are retained, so that we can restore quickly if something goes wrong. We restore a backup for you on request (€60 administration fee).
Reliable, up-to-date infrastructure
We host on professional cloud infrastructure with modern security; hosting within the EU is available. We keep the underlying software up to date, so that known vulnerabilities are patched in good time. Payments go directly through our payment provider and never reach our own servers.
Cookies and measurement
When you log in, we use functional session storage in your browser, which disappears when you close your browser. In addition, we use Google Ads to measure which advertisement leads to an enquiry, but only if you give your consent via the cookie notice. If you decline, or make no choice, no advertising cookies are placed. We never track you on other websites. More about this in our privacy statement.
Your data remains yours
You can request a complete copy of your data at any time (€60 administration fee), and after one year you can take over your application entirely, source code and all. Taking it over earlier is also possible; your annual hosting will then continue until its end date. No lock-in. On request, we will enter into a data processing agreement with you; you can read more about how we process data in our privacy statement.
